This tube was never opened, stored in a dark place but nevertheless polymerized within a year and rendered unusable. :(

These shots were taken today at Svalbard by my mom.
This is a polar "morning" which will continue for about next two months before becoming a four months long day.

Have not much content to share, so my cooking is everything I can offer today.

These guys demanding better life for themselves, but at the same moment they protest against businesses to establish more workplaces in the very depressive local labor market.

There are about 25-30 knots of wind outside and, unfortunately, from the unprotected side, so the boat is rocking a little.
Watching through the hatch the wind direction at the neighbor's mast feather. :)

Now I understand why it’s so cheap here. O.o

My beloved solar panel fell first to the raging storm. Extreme gust torn it frame apart from the bolts.
Have a feeling that Bimini will go next. It was already not in the best condition.
25hrs of storm to go.

Seawater aeration goes well.
Today it wasn't bad weather at all, just about 25kn on gusts, waves 2.5m tops. But on videos I'm standing about 5-7 meters above the water line.

Found a nice basin for Ursa to have fun.

Today’s night won’t be boring. Hills around the town forms a valley that speeds up the wind coming from the east. By forecast there shall be now no more than 30 knots of wind, but I’ve seen 40 already. So I expect up to 50 knots tonight.
Hoping that mooring lines of my neighbour windward will hold, because it’s a steel ship. If they don’t — his damage will not be deeper than the paint. :)

I'm busy round-o-clock with refreshing my professional skills, so not much happening here.

But here's a nice sunset for you, just in case you having an overcast there.

Filmed what we're NOT experiencing here and we're absolutely, utterly happy about that. Hoping there are no boats of any kind at the sea right now. It's a full-scale devastation there.

This is what happened with my solar panel.
Marina wants me to pay €100 to waste it. O.o
That's ridiculous. The price of the new panel is about 90 euros.
They literally pushing me to waste it into the sea.

Since I couldn't think anything better to spend some stormy night hours, I'm building a diy autopilot control unit out of various Arduino crap I'm carrying with me since I left Russia, lol.

It's fun tho. Almost physically feel how my rotten brain is squeaking trying to figure out what it sees at the screen and recall which side to approach the problem from.

Tupaia just released a new video from the very south. Highly recommended to watch. They’re making really great and beautiful vids.

Looking at forecast and wondering wtf is going on with the global weather, I just got an idea to look at the marine traffic along with the current weather state.
Not gonna lie, I really hope that these crews gains way more money for their job than I do.
Just hoping that I’ll never have to do a whatever paid job at sea at 11-12 scale storms.

Gov.il site shared a nice map about the matter. For now, I’m happy that for the next few years I’m not going anywhere around red.
Hoping that Malasya will grow up and fix the color in the foreseeable future. Would be pity to skip their beautiful country on my circumnavigation.

Reporting:
The wind has changed direction during the evening and since then it's almost still here in marina.
It looks like there were a lot of rain over the island so the river current today is faster than usual and therefore mooring lines are squeaking. But overall it's very calm here despite the 50+ knots of wind at the open sea.

At the graph you may see the wind speed history for a day

Ursa decided that her usual place on the floor isn't warm enough already and moved higher. :)

Filmed yesterday the hell of a storm from the hill facing the sea.
As usual, filming does not impress as much as bad it was. Also we were quite far from the shoreline just because it was too dangerous to go down the slippery rocks with over 100km/h wind gusts and 4+ meters waves down there. But I assure you that I was frightened even thinking about being at the sea at the moment.
Damage assessment isn't complete yet, but for sure I've lost solar, bimini and kayak (my worst fault — should have hid it inside).
