The progress in their usability and provided value is absolutely fantastic.

Just few years ago if you had some pain that could be fixed programmatically but you're not a programmer — you'd have to spend many thousands on POC, x5 on MVP etc.

Today, you just throw some little money towards LLM of your choice and do whatever you want.
Yes, later, if thing flies, you'll need quite an expensive guy or many to fix things, but the budget for the starter is close to nothing compared to even 2020.

Not far ago I've made an order on Amazon — kinda ordinary anti-corrosion dielectric grease, nothing special, tons of them on the market.
Few days ago, I got a forwarded email from the marina office where DHL is asking what is that and the purpose of the purchase.
That was strange already, but after my reply they replied back with the most fascinating stupidity I've ever seen in my whole life — they demand ME to certify that the USA-based company does not use RUSSIAN OIL to produce that product. Just skipping the fact I've ordered that at Italian Amazon and DHL see that in plain English at the postal declaration right on the parcel.

THIS. IS. FUCKING. RIDICULOUS.

Another echo of the Atlantic winter violence until tomorrow night.
Had a smalltalk with natives. Even elderlies don't remember other winter with such a bad weather twice a week.
Usually, February used to be already a great calm winter weather. Even from the middle of January. But this year is extremely stormy: once started in November, storms are coming in series and it doesn't seem going any calm. At least, I'm watching the Atlantic and see nothing good there.
Friends of mine all over the Mediterranean are also quite unhappy with the weather. And everyone notice just enormous amount of rain.
Can't tell for everyone, but here I got about 100 litres of water in the dingy just overnight.

Sorry for the endless whining. :)

My belief in humanity just got some repairs.
James, who's sailing around the world for the past several years, who shared an enormous amount of good seamanship practices, shown incredible places and overall is just a very nice guy who've been constantly refusing any sponsorship or any donations except Patreon for whatever reason, found himself in a very hard finance condition. His old boat just falling apart and continue the voyage as is becomes just life-threatening dangerous. So for the first time ever he asked the community for help.

This brings a lot of hope for humanity to me.

UPD: Fundraising ended up at x9 of the goal funding! 🎉

If you'll ever have to have an Israeli banking account — don't go to Discount bank. The gang of «the most ridiculous sexual minorities representatives».

Because of them, I can't buy a ceiling lights replacement — the card is just rejected and no explanation from them at all — they just ignore my requests.
Both online stores where these lights are on sale can't charge my card.

Why exactly these? Just because they fit nice, work well and cheap. Competitors are about €50/piece.

So, just in case, if you will to present me with a useful thing — send me one..some of these. At most I need twelve, but any amount is very welcome.

UPD: It seems that Israeli banks have nothing to do about that — the shop denies any foreign (non-Greek) cards.
