Wind log displays 35kn max speed during these two days and it seems like true. But it was quite an annoying time.
I couldn't explain to the dog that we're not going ashore because I will not be able to return to the boat rowing against this wind, so she was just sad.

Half of the surfers already landed since there is to much wind right now. Tho the anchor is holding ok.
I'm glad that I've invested a small bag of money in 40 meters of chain in addition to my 50.
All this chain barely fits into the chain locker, but having 80 meters out and holding still is a blessing.
*Two curves on the second photo just because I've released some more chain yesterday.

Yesterday found an excellent anchorage. Protected from the waves from every side and with the very favorable seabed depth profile, guaranteeing the best possible holding.

Simple things learned the hard way, part 2:
Before going anywhere, grab all electronics and put them into the sealed container. And don't open it until the hook is down and the weather is calm.
If you have a reasonably old laptop on the shelf you're willing to donate for good — that's your chance.

Was a big surprise to find among them a lot of middle-aged guys. Big respect to such men.

Another call for adventure!
If you or any of your friends did not decide what to do with vacation or just seeking for an adventure — here it is: sailing with me.
The comfortable season has started already, tho it's not too hot yet during the day and already not freezing cold at nights.
I'm at Sardegna now, near Olbia. Will pick you up, show you the beauty of sailing, deliver either back or wherever is reachable by boat within your time.
Two cabins available.
Money:
- €150/day for the cabin (single cabin capacity — 2 persons)
- other expenses (marinas, moorings, fuel, food) are not included and are on you too
Estimation for expenses on top (total, not per person/cabin):
- marinas €30-60/day, depending on "fancyness"
- moorings balls (in nature reserves) ~€15 day
- fuel: €8 per motoring hour
- food cost totally depends on you.
Anchorages are typically free of charge but sometimes the weather making staying on anchor from extremely uncomfortable to impossible.

This one is even softer. :)
Just got no news to tell. Today spent two hours to get to marina to tie-up there to go to supermarket, on my way back the trolley decided "I'm done here, enough!" and broke in half, got a golf car with the driver, had fun ride to the boat just to find that I forgot dog food where he picked me up, walked back, brought the bag to the boat, started preparing departure and found that I can't leave the dock myself, but the berth was literally the most distant one from everywhere and no people around, so I had to wait either for the wind to change, or someone help me pushing me away, just didn't want to do it myself — it's possible but too many rapid movements to be done and the cost of mistake is quite high, so I had my tea, a cigarette, couple YouTube vids, played with the dog and then noticed marina guy in the rib on the water, waved at him, he understood the thing without a single word spoken, pulled me out and hour and half later I got back to the anchorage, found my place is waiting for me, made a dinner, had a dinner, now polishing it with the tea and typing that wall of text. :)
Good night, pals.

New day — new anchorage.
Kids having fun with their little boats. I'm a bit jealous — these things are small, fast and extremely fun to sail.
There will be a moment when I'll go apply to such sailing school, just because the cost of mistake is zero but experience in sailing is triple-quadruple per hour.
