Found that my "skill improvement course" actually is the "Coastal", but I'll get no certificate for it, lol.

Whatever, having great times and fun here.

At this picture we're solving some exam tasks finding out right times to get to the marina, passing the bridge with the limited clearance, counting tides and currents.

Some updates to the topic.
Few medical bills from my september road accident chased me successfully so I got a pretty unpleasant subtraction from my bank account which, along with the israeli cost of living and my unemployment, made purchase of the boat pretty hard due to budget shortage.

So I decided to take an additional skiper courses as a self-present for my upcoming birthday and go find a job after.

I’ve got a pretty nice brand new camera which will help me feeding this channel with nice content.

Today I've passed my skiper qualification exam. Nobody filmed me, but this is the "sails up!" procedure performed by Alex.

Outstanding food.

Hoping for some wind today. Yet had only one day sailing. :(

First time overnight anchorage.

One of those moments: single-handed docking with the direct starboard wind at 8kn.

Practicing reverse docking with 8kn side wind.
Not perfect, but acceptable. Next two tries we're much better.

Yesterday got nice wind, been sailing at 8kn with about the 30° heel.
That was really fun.

Btw, parking at this spot was a little bit tough, since there are big rocks about 10 meters from each side. But I did it at the first attempt.

Abandoned submarine base. There were several docks, 3 or 4.

Top to bottom: Jupiter, Moon, Venus

At the marina right now.
It was a great day. I'm really proud of myself. There were few complicated moments, very much prone to newbie mistakes, which I successfully avoided.

And this is another highly recommended book by respectful people.

After half-a-year of permanent frustration with seeing a good sailboat and finding out that its headroom is less than 6 feet, I managed to ask ChatGPT. 🙂

To be honest, this list is far from being complete. There are no Grampian or Alpha 38 boats, but as a starting point to create alerts for selling websites this list is somewhat ok.

Completely exhausted. An hour ago took the beer from the fridge, just opened it.
Getting clear why every skiper is so fit. It's a really hard job. :)
